Project Details
The Kenya Urban Support Program (KUSP) was initiated to assist the Government of Kenya (GoK) in operationalizing its National Urban Development Policy (NUDP) and achieving medium term planning goals in the urban sector. The program provides three sets of inputs (or disbursement windows).
Window 1: Support to the national government in providing backstopping for urban planning & Management.
Window 2: Support to county governments level for the formulation of urban development plans, for the establishment and operation of urban institutional arrangements and for the initial preparation of urban infrastructure investments.
Window 3: Support to urban boards and administrations (through their respective county governments) for financing infrastructure investments in urban areas.
