Project Details
The proposed Flank Development Project involves additional development and continued operation of the existing Bibiyana Gas Plant, and facilities. The entire Bibiyana Gas field being leased to Chevron Bangladesh, the past seismic and drilling activities, and the need to explore beyond the BYGP and existing pads (further redevelopment of the gas field).
The proposed project will develop a drilling pad at Mouza Tilok, Union Asarkandi, Upazila Jagannathpur, District Sunamganj, named as Bibiyana Flank Development (BY-FD) site. From the BY-FD, it is proposed to drill at least three wells on a single well pad (with additional provision for 2 wells). Apart from the rig footprint, project execution will need a pipe laydown area, chemical storage, temporary portable accommodation, and office blocks.
